Abstract:

Recent decades have been marked by an increasing interest of the world community in the activities of women's organizations, both at the regional and international levels. This is due, in particular, to the increased role of women in society in solving economic, political, and socio-cultural problems. Women from the Asian and African regions are very active in bringing the pressing problems of their countries to a broad discussion. At the same time, the representation of women on an equal basis with men in various international forums is of great importance for achieving positive results.

The brightest sign of the first decades of the XXI century was a powerful surge in the activity of women in Asia and Africa in the political sphere, which resulted, in particular, in the emergence of organizations such as «Women twenty» and in holding a number of influential world forums. In fairness, it should be noted that the creation of such an international structure was initiated and supported by male politicians who came to believe that the solution of the most urgent economic, political, social, cultural and environmental problems of the whole world can only be achieved through the interaction of the efforts of both genders.

It can be argued that the active work of women who are members of the W20 and other international women's organizations over the past five years (2015-2019) has been aimed at uniting the efforts of women from many countries at the global level to achieve equal gender opportunities, which undoubtedly contributes to a more effective solution to many pressing problems facing all countries of the world.
